A pure passion for 4x4 was conceived from the first electronic sounds of the early 80's but it was the birth of the House marked by tracks by the likes of Fingers Inc. and Marshal Jefferson that was eventually responsible for a healthy 10,000+ vinyl collection, lots of partying and over 20 years in the electronic dance scene to date.

Carlos Francisco started his DJ’ing career in Spain in local bars and clubs close to Barcelona at holiday destination Costa Brava at the age of 18. The early nineties were spent learning the craft of turntablism skills so often lacking in today’s break-through ‘DJs’ during marathon nightly 10 hour sets.
In 1994, Carlos was taken on board by a London promoter and begun spinning at more well known clubs like Bagleys, The Cross, Turnmills, Pacha and eventually a 6 year residency for Rulin' at the Ministry of Sound. Carlos was taken on board by The Ministry Of Sound 'Dance Nation' and other tours taking him to many countries and venues around the globe.
Natural progression lead Carlos in to the studio to experiment with his beloved sound. Over the last decade and a half, the fruits of his music production have lead to some great success. His first vinyl release 'Sun Sacrifice' was pressed in 2000 with Javi Colors (Stereo Recordings) and shortly after La Liga on DTPM's label DTrax won support from Roger Sanchez, Tom Stephan and John Cutler.
In November 2006, Carlos launched his own electronic music label "SP Recordings" at the legendary Turnmills (London). The label has over 80 releases from new and established artists from around the world concentrating on the more underground side of today's sub dance genres.
In 2009, Carlos moved to Fortaleza in Brazil were he set up his label headquarters and production studio. It is here were the latest productions have taken things to another level… Over the last year, his tracks have been released on his own SP imprint and many other reputable labels including... King Street, Nite Grooves, Kolour, Vida Records, Blacksoul Music, Good Stuff, HEAVY, Celestial Recordings, Grooveland, Endemic, Soundmenonwax, Groove On, Submarine Vibes and Unrivaled Music.
Recent works include a remix for Aki Bergen's 'Love Honey' on Kolour Recordings, Original releases on Soundmenonwax titled 'Drums of Kadoma’ and “Ala De Mosca” on Vida Records which have won support from the likes of Dj Sneak, Herman Catanneo, Osunlade and other big players on the underground dance scene. 'Drums of Kadoma' reached number 3 on the Traxsource Afro House Charts and was in the top 10 for over 4 weeks) while "Ala De Mosca" on Vida Records, hit the number one spot for over 5 months and is still in the top 100 as well as being one of the top sellers on Traxsource for 2014. Nu Disco track “We Remember You” on Blacksoul Music also hit the number one spot in the Nu Disco Chart with a fantastic remix from Mr Jools.
Other releases are set in the pipeline for 2015 including a remix of “Drop And Play” on Space Resident’s Jonathan Ulysses label “Ulybug” as well as new releases for all last years labels.
On the DJ side, Carlos has two weekly residencies including 'Orbita' on Sunday night/ Monday morning in Brazils 4rth largest city. This is the busiest Sunday night in Fortaleza were the crowd is always 1500+ to 5am on Monday morning..
His own project ‘Coconut Grooves’ A day beach event at one of the capitals hot spots Cumbuco, is getting busier every week and is looking at inviting international talent for 2015. Carlos also has confirmed gigs in Europe for 2015 in London, Portugal and Barcelona.
